The faerie of Vulnerability

“My dear sweet ones,
I often watch you and wonder,
Why you hide yourself,
Your dreams,
In shadow.

How has it become?
That your life has been reduced
To living behind the walls of safety
Out of fear of being hurt?

Do you not see?
Just beyond the hidden corners
Your dreams lie dormant,
Your heart lies fulfilled,
Your life becomes yours.

What you fear is not real.
It is what your mind has created.
The walls do not only keep others out, They keep you in.
They hold you captive in safety.

To be vulnerable is to claim your power.
To give completely to what you desire.
To not live as a victim to another person,
Or another experience.

I am here to remind you that this life,
Is your gift.
If you do not fulfill your desires,
If you hide in the safety of your
comfort zone,
You will never live passionately,
Or fully self expressed.

I believe in you.
Jump little bird.
Jump from the branch of what you know,
And fly to your dreams.

Show yourself to the world,
And allow yourself to be who you were destined to be.
In life and in love.
Risk is not fear, it is freedom.”
Repeat this mantra everyday and watch as your dreams unfold.
"I carry within, the luminescent light. The courage to face the unknown. The confidence to live my dreams."
